Instrumental Teachers' Concert

On the evening of Wednesday 29th April, we were delighted to present, for the second year running, a concert organised by our instrumental teachers. This gave opportunities for instrumental and vocal students to play solo or small group pieces, some in preparation for forthcoming music exams. We were treated to music on drums, violin, cello, guitar, oboe, trumpet, trombone (a first for St. Julian's) and voice. The programme was, as usual, extremely varied, with musical repertoire ranging from Bach to the Blackadder theme, Grieg to Green Day, Massenet to Mraz, Telemann to tangos and much more. The school’s new raised seating system was a real bonus for the very appreciative audience who were able to see as well as hear the show!
